Squalane(角鯊烷)

Squalane (角鯊烷)

100% Plant-Derived Squalane: Weightless Hydration Oil

Hydrate without the grease. Squalane mimics skin's natural oils to lock in moisture and soften texture. Non-comedogenic and perfect for acne-prone skin.

Efficacy

Squalane is a stable, lightweight emollient structurally similar to natural skin lipids. It forms a smooth protective film that locks in moisture, reduces TEWL and improves softness and radiance. It’s typically non-comedogenic and works well as a barrier-supporting, moisture-sealing step.

Suitable

  • Suitable for daily use, especially for dry, dehydrated, sensitive and barrier-impaired skin, and commonly used post-procedure. Generally considered pregnancy-safe.
  • Very oily or severe acne-prone skin should use sparingly and observe response, as any oil can potentially feel heavy or occlusive.

Pair – other ingredients

  • Good with: Best applied over hydrating and barrier-repair serums (like HA, glycerin, panthenol, ceramides) as the final occlusive layer.
  • Avoid / caution: No strong ingredient conflicts; watch for overly heavy combinations with other comedogenic oils/waxes on acne-prone skin.

Pair with beauty device

After RF, laser or acid treatments, apply a hydrating serum followed by a thin layer of squalane, then use a cooling/massage device. This helps soothe residual heat, lock in moisture and reduce tightness, supporting faster comfort and recovery.

Skin Type

Ideal for dry, dehydrated, sensitive and barrier-damaged skin. Use cautiously and sparingly on very oily or acne-prone skin.

⚠️ Expert Safety Tips & Usage Guidelines

To ensure the best results and safety when using our skincare devices and products, please adhere to the following guidelines:

Conductivity Matters

When using RF (Radio Frequency) or EMS (Microcurrent) devices, you MUST use a water-based gel or serum. Oil-based products will block the current, rendering the device ineffective and potentially causing heat accumulation on the skin surface.

Avoid Active Acids

On days you use energy-based devices (especially RF or heating modes), please pause the use of strong active ingredients such as AHAs, BHAs, or Retinol. Combining high heat with potent exfoliants may damage the skin barrier and cause irritation.

Patch Test First

Before applying any new serum or gel to your face, always perform a patch test on your inner arm or behind the ear. Wait 24 hours to ensure no allergic reaction occurs.

Strict Sun Protection

Post-treatment skin (especially after Brightening or LED therapy) can be photosensitive. You must apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher) daily to prevent UV damage and pigmentation rebound.
