Beauty Shouldn't Cost Your Vision
LED masks are trending, but rumors circulate: "It causes cataracts," "Blue light will blind you."
Are these true?
As a responsible brand, we must be honest: Light, if misused, has risks. But with proper design and usage, it is absolutely safe.
Will it hurt my eyes?
Home LED devices are much weaker than medical lasers or UV from the sun.
Certified LED masks are UV-Free.
However, high-intensity Blue Light, if stared at directly for long periods, could theoretically cause retinal stress.
The key is: Don't stare at the light source.
Check Physical Protection
Rule #1: Check for "Physical Protection"
Don't buy masks that are just a clear sheet of plastic.
A safe mask MUST have built-in Opaque Silicone Eye Guards.
- The Test: Put it on and turn it on. If you close your eyes and it still feels uncomfortably bright, the leakage protection is poor.
- Our Design: [Product Name] uses medical-grade thickened silicone eye rings that seal around your eyes, blocking 99% of stray light.
Rule #2: Just Close Your Eyes
Even if a product claims "See-Through Design," doctors recommend: Keep them closed.
Treat this 10 minutes as your daily Meditation.
Scrolling on your phone while masking adds screen blue light to the mask's light, doubling the strain.
Rule #3: Know the Contraindications
Consult a doctor if you:
- Have eye conditions (Glaucoma, Cataracts, Retinal diseases).
- Are taking Photosensitive Drugs (e.g., Tetracycline antibiotics, Isotretinoin). These make you extremely sensitive to light.
