Salicylic Acid (水楊酸)

Salicylic Acid (BHA): Clear Blackheads & Acne Fast

Deep clean your pores. Salicylic Acid dissolves oil and unclogs impurities to banish breakouts. Shop our effective acne treatments now.

Efficacy

Salicylic acid is an oil-soluble beta hydroxy acid (BHA) that penetrates pores to dissolve sebum and keratin plugs, providing deep pore cleansing, especially helpful for blackheads, whiteheads and comedones. It also offers anti-inflammatory and mild antibacterial benefits to help prevent breakouts.

Suitable

  • Ideal for oily, combination-oily and acne-prone skin with blackheads and congested pores.
  • Pregnancy use is cautious – consult a doctor. Dry or sensitive skin may not tolerate frequent or high-strength use; start low and monitor barrier health.

Pair – other ingredients

  • Good with: Works well with hyaluronic acid, glycerin, ceramides and centella asiatica for post-exfoliation hydration and calming.
  • Avoid / caution: Avoid layering with strong AHAs, retinoids or benzoyl peroxide in the same routine to reduce risk of over-irritation.

Pair with beauty device

When skin is free of active acids (or after BHA is rinsed off), pairing with a blue LED mask can enhance acne bacteria suppression and anti-inflammatory effects. This complements salicylic acid’s pore-clearing and anti-acne actions, supporting better long-term acne management.

Skin Type

Best for oily, combination-oily and acne-prone skin with blackheads/congestion. Not ideal forvery dry, highly sensitive or barrier-compromised skin.

⚠️ Expert Safety Tips & Usage Guidelines

To ensure the best results and safety when using our skincare devices and products, please adhere to the following guidelines:

Conductivity Matters

When using RF (Radio Frequency) or EMS (Microcurrent) devices, you MUST use a water-based gel or serum. Oil-based products will block the current, rendering the device ineffective and potentially causing heat accumulation on the skin surface.

Avoid Active Acids

On days you use energy-based devices (especially RF or heating modes), please pause the use of strong active ingredients such as AHAs, BHAs, or Retinol. Combining high heat with potent exfoliants may damage the skin barrier and cause irritation.

Patch Test First

Before applying any new serum or gel to your face, always perform a patch test on your inner arm or behind the ear. Wait 24 hours to ensure no allergic reaction occurs.

Strict Sun Protection

Post-treatment skin (especially after Brightening or LED therapy) can be photosensitive. You must apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher) daily to prevent UV damage and pigmentation rebound.
