Hyaluronic Acid

Hyaluronic Acid (透明質酸)

Hyaluronic Acid Serum: Deep Hydration for Plump, Dewy Skin

Quench thirsty skin. Hyaluronic Acid holds 1000x its weight in water to fill fine lines and restore bounce. Get intense hydration that lasts all day.

Efficacy

Hyaluronic acid is a classic humectant that can bind up to ~1000x its weight in water, increasing stratum corneum hydration and delivering a visible plumping effect. It creates a moisture network and reduces TEWL, leaving skin smoother, softer and more elastic.

Suitable

  • Suitable for daily use on dehydrated and all skin types (dry, oily, combination, sensitive), and generally considered pregnancy-safe. Ideal as a hydrating base before other actives.
  • Caution: In very dry climates or heavily air-conditioned environments, HA should be sealed with a cream or oil to prevent moisture from being drawn out from deeper layers

Pair – other ingredients

  • Good with: Pairs well with almost all actives as a universal hydrating base, including acids, retinoids, vitamin C and peptides, helping to buffer irritation and dryness.
  • Avoid / caution: No major direct ingredient conflicts. Main caution is to always combine with occlusives and emollients (ceramides, squalane, oils) to lock in the added moisture.

Pair with beauty device

  • Water-based HA gels/serums are excellent partners for EMS/microcurrent devices:
  • They act as an effective conductive medium, providing glide and comfort, reducing friction on the skin.
  • They help maintain high hydration levels in the skin while EMS works on muscles/tissues, enhancing the appearance of firmness and plumpness post-treatment.

Skin Type

Suitable for dehydrated, dry, oily, combination and sensitive skin; broadly safe and well-tolerated.

⚠️ Expert Safety Tips & Usage Guidelines

To ensure the best results and safety when using our skincare devices and products, please adhere to the following guidelines:

Conductivity Matters

When using RF (Radio Frequency) or EMS (Microcurrent) devices, you MUST use a water-based gel or serum. Oil-based products will block the current, rendering the device ineffective and potentially causing heat accumulation on the skin surface.

Avoid Active Acids

On days you use energy-based devices (especially RF or heating modes), please pause the use of strong active ingredients such as AHAs, BHAs, or Retinol. Combining high heat with potent exfoliants may damage the skin barrier and cause irritation.

Patch Test First

Before applying any new serum or gel to your face, always perform a patch test on your inner arm or behind the ear. Wait 24 hours to ensure no allergic reaction occurs.

Strict Sun Protection

Post-treatment skin (especially after Brightening or LED therapy) can be photosensitive. You must apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher) daily to prevent UV damage and pigmentation rebound.
