Glycolic Acid(AHA / 甘醇酸)

Glycolic Acid

Glycolic Acid Toners: Resurface Skin for an Instant Glow

Transform texture overnight. Glycolic Acid dissolves dead skin cells to reveal a brighter, smoother layer underneath. Get that radiant glass skin look.

Efficacy

Glycolic acid is a small-molecule alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that loosens bonds between dead skin cells, providing surface exfoliation and renewal. It improves roughness, dullness, fine lines and clogged pores, and at low strengths can gently brighten and support collagen over time.

Suitable

  • Best used at night for rough, dull, congested and non-sensitive skin. Low-strength use in pregnancy should be evaluated by a doctor.
  • Not recommended for very sensitive, rosacea or barrier-impaired skin. Daily sunscreen is mandatory. Avoid stacking strong acids and retinoids in the same routine.

Pair – other ingredients

  • Good with: Pair with ceramides, HA, glycerin, panthenol and centella to offset dryness and support the barrier after exfoliation.
  • Avoid / caution: Do not layer with multiple strong acids or retinoids in the same step; this can trigger serious irritation.

Pair with beauty device

On nights without glycolic acid use, ared LED mask can help boost collagen and reduce mild inflammation, synergizing with your AHA routine to improve overall glow and texture.

Skin Type

Best for rough, dull, congested and early-aging skin. Typically not suited for very dry, sensitive or rosacea-prone types.

⚠️ Expert Safety Tips & Usage Guidelines

To ensure the best results and safety when using our skincare devices and products, please adhere to the following guidelines:

Conductivity Matters

When using RF (Radio Frequency) or EMS (Microcurrent) devices, you MUST use a water-based gel or serum. Oil-based products will block the current, rendering the device ineffective and potentially causing heat accumulation on the skin surface.

Avoid Active Acids

On days you use energy-based devices (especially RF or heating modes), please pause the use of strong active ingredients such as AHAs, BHAs, or Retinol. Combining high heat with potent exfoliants may damage the skin barrier and cause irritation.

Patch Test First

Before applying any new serum or gel to your face, always perform a patch test on your inner arm or behind the ear. Wait 24 hours to ensure no allergic reaction occurs.

Strict Sun Protection

Post-treatment skin (especially after Brightening or LED therapy) can be photosensitive. You must apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher) daily to prevent UV damage and pigmentation rebound.
